The options of villas available in Canggu, Bali are endless. With it being the most popular spot in Bali now for tourists and ex-pats alike you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Of course, you can stay in a hotel or guesthouse still but there are some incredible villas in Canggu, and even with it being the most popular spot, they’re still a lot more affordable than a villa would be in neighboring countries like Thailand.
A villa will allow you to really enjoy your time spent at your accommodation providing you with your own private pool, lounging areas, and a bit of peace and quiet.
Some of the suggestions below even come with their own chefs, butlers, and drivers while costing as little as $50 a night.
Canggu does have a very lively nightlife now so you’ll appreciate having somewhere to get away to.
All prices below are in USD and are approximate prices per night since accommodation costs do vary. Almost everywhere in Bali has wifi now at no extra cost. Although connections can be a bit intermittent.

Central Canggu
1. Villa Kedidi
The most central Canggu villa I could possibly recommend. Villa Kedidi is located right by the main beach in Canggu at the end of Batu Bolong. The villa has more traditional architecture than a lot of the modern villas around so is perfect if you’d like to have your own space but don’t want to feel like you could just be anywhere.
The villa is right by Old Man’s and the Lawn, two of the most popular bars in Canggu and literally meters from the brilliant longboard surf spot of Batu Bolong beach.
The road leading back from the beach has plenty of cute cafes and breakfast spots. Plus lots of boutique clothing shops.
Since this is right in the center of the hustle and bustle of Canggu this probably isn’t the best spot if you’re traveling with your family.
If you’re in Canggu to party and surf however it couldn’t be better placed.
The villa also comes with its own villa manager, driver, cooks, housekeepers, and security so you won’t have to lift a finger while there.

2. Villa Puri Aman
On the same road as Villa Kedidi but just further back from the beach and noisy bars, Villa Puri Aman is a cute villa house that has a really homely feel.
Perfect if you’re visiting Bali as a family and want somewhere close enough to walk to everything in central Canggu but not so central that the kids never sleep.
Best For: Family holiday

3. The Apartments Canggu
If you want a slice of villa life but aren’t traveling in a group, check out The Apartments Canggu.
Set back on Jalan Padang Lingjong with easy access to plenty of Canggu’s restaurants and main attractions, the apartments provide miniature 1 bedroom villas still complete with kitchens and your own private pool.

4. Villa Alocasia
Set further back along Padang Lingjong this sleek modern Bali villa comes with large modern rooms, a massive garden and pool area, and even its own gym.
This villa is so reasonably priced for its location, even if there aren’t 8 of you to fill it’s worth snapping up.

5. Villa Nonnavana
Not far from the famous Shady Shack and Crate Café in central Canggu is Villa Nonnavana.
If you like industrial style villas then this is the Canggu villa for you. With exposed concrete, carefully placed plants, and decoration this villa is an interior designer’s dream.
The villa also comes with its own villa manager and butler so you can relax in style from the second you arrive.
Best For: Industrial Décor

6. Kawung Villa
Back on the main road of Canggu, Batu Bolong, the pool areas in these villas aren’t the largest but the villas themselves are beautiful. They have both a 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom villas available but if you need 3 beds you’ll get better value going with one of the other options here.
The 2 bed, however, is a great smaller villa option, right in the center of Canggu.
Best For: Small Groups/Small Family

7. The Uma Villa Canggu
Tucked back from the main area of Canggu, the other side of Raya Canggu, and comes with a reduced price tag to match.
This massive villa has its own butler, villa manager and housekeeping, rice field views, and plenty of areas to relax in.

8. Toraja Villa
A slightly different villa, part set in a traditional wooden joglo, with spectacular views from the bedrooms out across the pool and surrounding rice fields.
The upstairs lounge area is similarly well located to take in the breath-taking views as you cozy up on the sofa and watch some TV.
Close enough to the main area of Canggu, Batu Bolong, to get to all of the great Canggu breakfast spots, cafés, beaches, and bars easily but far enough away that you’ll really feel like you’ve escaped the madness the second you get back.
The villa also comes with its very own chef and butler.
Oh, and it has a bar.

9. Zin Canggu
In between the main part of Canggu and Berawa at the end of Jalan Nelayan, Zin Canggu is a café and coworking space at the front and has hotel rooms and private villas for rent at the back.
It’s so beautiful and if you’re planning on working online while in Bali it would be a great place to stay with the built-in workspace. That does mean though that while the private villas are beautiful and have their own pool etc. the accommodation is less private than a separate villa would be.
Best For: Villa life combined with meeting people

Berawa
10. Villa Kirgeo
Located just a few minutes walk from Berawa Beach and Finns Beach Club, Villa Kirgeo is the perfect villa if you’re traveling with a group of friends and want to live it up while in Bali.
The villa has outdoor BBQ facilities and rooms opening directly onto the pool area. It also comes with a car and driver 8 hours a day, which honestly will make such a difference if you’d rather not rent a scooter in Bali but want to do day trips around the island.
There are plenty of cafes and cute shops along the road that goes to the beach and even nightlife options that are walkable from there allowing you to get around most of the time without riding a scooter, and or needing to sit in traffic.
If there are 8 of you the price per person is so cheap for what it is.

Just by Finns Recreation Club in Berawa, Villa Sally is a villa complex that offers 1, 2, and 3 bedroom villas with private pools for rent.
The villas are clean and modern and you can even get yourself a floating breakfast like you see in all those Bali Instagram photos if you fancy it.
Best For: Bali Instagram vibes

12. The Kemilau Hotel & Villa Canggu
In a similar location, The Kemilau Hotel & Villa Canggu has normal hotel rooms as well as private villas available. While not the largest of villas, or pools, their 3 bedroom villa is an absolute steal for the location.
Best For: Budget family getaway

13. Villa DelMar
Located to the south of Berawa close to the trendy areas of Batu Belig and Petitengent, this Bali villa is perfectly located if you’d like to spend time in both Canggu and Seminyak.
Or if you plan on spending all your time at Café Del Mar Beach Club (it’s just at the end of the road!).
Villa Del Mar, as the name suggests, is just a 5-minute walk from the beach as well as cafes and supermarkets.
A 5-minute scooter ride away you’ll find Pantai Batu Belig which has the popular 707 Beachberm bar, perfect for chilled-out beach days, and also the fancier Tropicola beach club.
Best For: Modern Relaxation

14. Komea Villa

That does, unfortunately, mean it comes with a price tag to match though coming in at the most expensive of all of these villas per night per person.

16. Villa Waha
Back in the centre of Berawa, but on a quiet side street, this villa is ridiculous for the price.
There’s ample outside space around the pool and a huge open plan living room and kitchen.
Although it has 4 bedrooms be warned one of them has 2 x bunk beds rather than a double bed. Perfect if you’re traveling with young children.
If you’re all adults that might be slightly less convenient for you, however.
Best For: Fancy villa life on the cheap

Also in Berawa, this compact 1 bedroom villa, although small, is really well laid out so that you can still enjoy the villa life even if there are only two of you.

18. Villa Avalon
Want to live like a King or Queen? Then this villa is for you.
There are some Canggu villas that just look like the type of thing you’d expect someone famous to have as their home. This is one of those villas.
With it’s sprawling outside space, separate wings of the house, and even a pool table upstairs it will be the perfect location to relax after going out exploring or surfing.
It’s also very conveniently located only a 5-minute walk from Berawa Beach where you’ll find Finn’s Beach Club and great surfing (better at lower tide).
Oh and it comes with a team of staff (butler, chef, security) to cater to all your needs!

19. Villa Asante
This Echo Beach villa, Villa Asante, is slightly more expensive but its location couldn’t be better and it comes with a butler, private chef, chauffeur, security, and villa manager to make your stay as hassle-free as possible.
From the location, right on Echo Beach, you’ll easily be able to walk to some of the best waves in Bali, get fresh fish BBQ on the beach, go to La Brisa or Como Beach Clubs or hit up any of the great bars and shops just along the main beach road.
It’s rare to find Canggu beachside villas, you usually have to go further north to find them, so this is definitely one worth snapping up.
Best For: Echo Beach

20. Regali Villa Canggu
Also located over in Echo Beach, Regali Villa Canggu is a villa complex that has one, two, and three-bedroom villas.
It won’t come with all the fancy amenities like Villa Asante with its butler and chef nor are the villas as visually stunning but they are a great choice if there aren’t as many of you or you’re on a tighter budget.
Best For: Central villa on a budget

21. Como Uma Canggu
If you’d like more of a villa resort feel in Canggu why not book yourself in at COMO Uma in Echo Beach.
You can get your own Residence with private pool but there is also a large shared pool, the lagoon, as well as the pool in their main dining area which looks straight onto echo beach and has some of the best views for sunset in the area.
Best For: Resort villa life
Sleeps: 4-6

North Canggu
22. Sungai Tinggi Beach Villa
To get a proper beachfront villa heading north of Canggu is your best bet. Sungai Tinggi Beach Villa is located right by Pererenan Beach which is swiftly becoming the new Canggu.
You can still easily walk from Pererenan Beach back to Echo beach and Canggu beach by just heading south straight along the beach, but it also feels like a whole other world there, away from all the loud motorbikes and people.
Pererenan is also a good surf spot and there are plenty of cute cafes and restaurants along the beach road.
Not that you’ll want to leave the villa, or need to, since it comes with its own villa manager, cook, butler, housekeeper, and security.
There is a driver available 8 hours a day if you would like to get out and about.
Best For: North Canggu Calm

Slightly further north in Pantai Munggu/Seseh Beach is Villa Shalimar Kalima. This villa is also just by the beachfront but at half the price of the other beachfront villas in the area. It’s such a good deal.

The surrounding area is much more local and it’s close enough to everything you can easily get into the center of Canggu.

24. Villa Cantik
Villa Cantik, meaning beautiful villa in English, is also located at Seseh beach. And it really lives up to its name.
This is the perfect villa to stay in if there’s only a few of you, or if you’re traveling as a small family, as unlike a lot of the mega villas in the area this one has just 2 bedrooms.
12 people is quite a lot to round up after all!

25. Villa Taman Ahimsa
Villa Taman Ahimsa is set in the quiet village of Cemagi just 20 minutes north of Canggu.
For moving just that bit further out what you then get is an 18-meter swimming pool sat right on the front of the ocean. The villa also comes with its own private butler and chef.
To get into the center of Canggu it will be a lot quicker and easier if you rent scooters rather than take cars as there can be a lot of traffic going back that way.
Best For: Ocean Views
